New Car Quick Quote
First introduced to the American market in 2008, the Smart lineup has earned a reputation for offering tiny, stylish vehicles for city driving. Smart's lead model, the Smart Fortwo, is now in its second generation.
Despite having only two seats, the Fortwo offers a surprisingly spacious interior -- even for taller drivers. It does, however, lack the basic cargo room that many drivers look for in a subcompact vehicle. The rear-mounted engine produces only 70 horsepower, and is linked to an automated five-speed manual transmission.
