More on the Mazda CX-9:

New Car Quick Quote

First introduced to the public at the 2007 North American International auto show in Detroit, the CX–9 is Mazda's entry into the full-size SUV market. With three rows of seats seating seven comfortably, the CX–9 is still capable of living up to Mazda's zoom-zoom heritage.

Sharing a platform with the Edge, the CX-9 utilizes a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 273 horsepower through a six-speed automatic transmission that powers the front or all four wheels, depending on model. The basic platform has remained the same since its introduction in 2007, but had a minor refresh in 2010 and a major overhaul for 2013 that included extensive exterior and interior changes.

Available in three trims—Sport, Touring and Grand Touring—the CX-9 is sure to have a model that suits everyone's taste. With all of the safety and infotainment equipment that has become mandatory in the full-size SUV class available, the CX-9 remains a reasonably priced seven-passenger SUV with the sporty flair of a Mazda.
