FIAT 500L Video
New Car Quick Quote
After bringing the 500 to the U.S. for 2012, Fiat decided to add a larger model in 2014. The 500L adds two doors and seating for one more person, bringing total capacity to five. Like the standard 500, it's available in a variety of trim levels: Pop, Easy, Trekking and Lounge. All 500Ls are moved by a 160-horsepower 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine. A six-speed manual transmission is standard on most models; a Euro Twin Clutch unit with the same number of gears is an available option.
For 2014, Fiat released a slightly longer 500 model with four doors that it has dubbed the 500L. The first-generation 500L not only adds length, height and space to the 500 lineup, it also debuts an all-new front fascia and headlight design. Providing motivation for the 500L is a 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 160 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque, delivered to the front wheels through a six-speed manual or six-speed automated manual transmission.
