2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Changes
There are no mechanical changes to Alfa Romeo’s SUV for the 2024 model year, but there are several trim and pricing changes. The Lusso and Estrema models have been dropped, replaced by a mid-range Competizione model and a 100th Anniversary version of the high-performance Quadrifoglio flagship. Prices on the carryover trims are also between $300 and $1,960 lower than they were last year.
Choosing Your 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio
The Stelvio range still features six trim levels and two powertrains, with prices for the SUV starting at $46,370 including destination for a rear-wheel drive Sprint. AWD is a $2,000 option on this model, but it’s standard on every other Stelvio. As a result, there’s a $5,500 uptick for the next-cheapest Ti model, while the base Quadrifoglio will set you back $87,770 including a compulsory metallic paint upgrade.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Engine Options
The 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio engine range includes a two-liter turbocharged gas engine producing 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. This is supplied to all four wheels (or the rear wheels on some Sprint models) via an eight-speed automatic transmission that also features in the high-performance Quadrifoglio models. Here, a 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 generates 505 hp and 443 lb-ft.
Engine Type | Horsepower | Torque |
2.0 turbo | 280 hp | 306 lb-ft |
2.9 V6 | 505 hp | 443 lb-ft |
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Fuel Economy
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio fuel economy stands at an EPA-estimated 22 miles per gallon city, 28 mpg highway, and 24 combined in two-liter AWD models. Anyone plumping for a RWD Sprint can expect slightly superior returns of 22/29/25 mpg. Gas mileage inevitably drops in Quadrifoglio models – according to the most recent 2023 data, you can expect returns of 17/23/19 mpg.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Towing Capacity
Alfa Romeo doesn’t publish towing capacities for the Stelvio.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Dimensions & Cargo Capacity
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio dimensions include a rather underwhelming 31.9 inches of rear legroom in proportion to its overall length and width of 184 and 75 inches respectively. 2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio cargo space stands at 18.5 cu ft with the rear seats in place, and 56.5 cu ft once they’re dropped.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Safety
A host of driver aids are incorporated into every Stelvio, including adaptive cruise control with full stop, blind spot and rear cross path detection, lane departure warning, and forward collision warnings. Hill descent control and hill start assist are also present alongside torque control and traction control systems.
Every model has front and rear parking sensors, but there’s no surround-view camera system even on the options list. Rain-sensitive wipers and automatic LED lighting with auto high beams are standard across the range, alongside power-folding and auto-dimming outside mirrors, but road sign recognition and driver drowsiness monitoring are optional extras on all trims bar Sprint.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Technology
Every Stelvio is fitted with an 8.8-inch color touchscreen display incorporating navigation, while the standard stereo is an eight-speaker audio system.
By the time you reach Competizione trim, a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system is fitted; it’s an available option on Ti and Veloce models. Wireless device charging is an across-the-range feature.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Trims & Prices
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Sprint – MSRP from $46,370
Build & Price >It’s to Alfa’s credit that the most affordable Stelvio doesn’t feel like it from the power-adjustable driver’s seat, where a perforated leather shift knob and heated leather steering wheel complement a 12-inch TFT instrument display.
Dual-zone climate and a power liftgate are other standard fitments, while both front-seat occupants benefit from heating and power lumbar adjustment.
There are no available packages on this trim.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti – MSRP from $51,320
Build & Price >A dual-pane sunroof bathes the Ti’s cabin in light, while AWD is standard. Aesthetic touches include aluminum pedals, silver and gloss black external detailing, and a hands-free power liftgate.
Ti trim is the first to access two options packages, one of which combines a 14-speaker Harman Kardon setup with leather trim across the dash and upper doors for $2,225. The other option is the $700 Active Assist Plus pack, bringing active blind-spot and driving assistance with driver attention alert monitors and lane keep assistance, and traffic sign information and recognition.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Veloce – MSRP from $53,120
Build & Price >Translating as ‘fast’ in Italian, Veloce models look more purposeful with 20-inch five-hole aluminum wheels flanked by red calipers. A black gloss body kit and sports rear diffuser are overt visual upgrades, while a mechanical limited-slip rear differential is fitted; power-adjustable seat bolsters help keep occupants securely in place during fast cornering.
Options are the same as on Ti models.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Competizione – MSRP from $57,920
Build & Price >Competizione models sport active suspension and larger 21-inch aluminum wheels. Red stitching highlights leather sports seats, while red-stitched leather is applied to the upper doors and dash as well. This is the first Stelvio to come with a 14-speaker Harman Kardon stereo as standard.
Only the $700 Active Assist Plus pack remains available, as it is on both Quadrifoglio trims.
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio – MSRP from $87,770
Build & Price >Safety-conscious buyers will be reassured to know traffic jam assist and road sign recognition come as standard on both Quadrifoglio models, alongside four-wheel Brembo high-performance brakes.
A carbon fiber steering wheel is another notable upgrade, as is the quad exhaust system, though the Competizione’s advanced limited slip diff and twin-pane sunroof are sacrificed in favor of Quadrifoglio’s more powerful engine (complete with a dedicated race mode for track use).
2024 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversary – MSRP from $94,930
Build & Price >Quadrifoglio 100th Anniversary models are distinguished by gold-painted brake calipers and 21-inch wheels, carbon fiber exterior mirrors, and a matching grille. Inside the cabin, Alcantara seats are finished with gold stitching.
For $52,000, you can park a Stelvio Ti with a host of optional safety aids on your driveway. This seems like good value compared to pricier models, whereas entry-level Sprint feels a touch basic by comparison.
