What's New for 2014
The major addition to the GS line is an eight-speed automatic transmission for the rear-wheel drive version.
Choosing Your Lexus GS 350
The GS 350 is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 306 horsepower and 274 pound-feet of torque. In rear-drive models, with the new eight-speed automatic transmission, fuel economy is rated at 19 mpg city and 29 mpg highway; all-wheel drive models get a six-speed automatic and EPA ratings of 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway.
All GS 350s come with leather upholstery, wood and metallic accent trim, a moonroof and automatic climate control. Other standard features include a premium audio system with Surround Sound, push-button start, and a rearview camera.
Buyers can choose from a variety of packages:
- Premium Package with heated and ventilated front seats
- Luxury Package with an adaptive variable suspension (AVS), semi-aniline leather upholstery and 18-inch alloy wheels
- F Sport Package with a 16-way driver's sport seat, custom-tuned AVS, bigger wheels, tires and brakes, and variable gear ratio steering
Both the Ultra Luxury and F Sport packages include the Cold Weather package with a heated steering wheel, high intensity heater, windshield wiper de-icer and headlight washers.
Standalone options include navigation system, a Mark Levinson audio system, and safety features like a head-up display, park assist, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning.
Even in base form, the well-equipped GS 350 provides a rewarding driving experience—but the F Sport is worth the upgrade if you want to up the "fun" quotient.
