The compact SUV from the legendary Land Rover brand, the expressive Range Rover Evoque can turn heads just as easily as it tackles boulders. Its trendy urban looks make it a standout in a class populated by so many slab-sided vehicles.
What's New for 2014
The Evoque gets a new nine-speed automatic for enhanced efficiency and performance. Last year’s full-time four-wheel drive system has been replaced by an on-demand setup known as Active Driveline. The adaptive cruise control system receives additional functionality, and automatic parking assist joins the option list. New colors and badging round out the changes.
Choosing Your Land Rover Range Rover Evoque
All models are powered by a turbocharged 2-liter four-cylinder that serves up 240 horsepower. The nine-speed automatic marks a major technological leap over the previous six-speed unit. The Evoque’s standard Terrain Response System optimizes performance for five driver-selected road conditions.
The Evoque comes as a conventional four-door SUV and a swoopy two-door coupe. The four-door is the choice for practicality, while the coupe offers remarkable stage presence for this segment.
