The Hyundai Veloster reportedly has styling that was inspired by a high-performance sport bike. The Veloster is a sleek, coupe-like compact with a barely visible third door on its right-hand side. This unique feature allows easier entry and exit by rear-seat passengers without creating the family-sedan look of many four-doors. For a reasonable base price, the Veloster brings a wealth of standard equipment and decent fuel economy numbers.
What's New for 2014
For 2014, a new Turbo R-Spec trim is added. New features for the Veloster Turbo include torque vectoring and Active Sound Design in-cabin sound enhancement. The base Veloster gains a rearview camera, a driver’s blind-spot mirror and daytime running lights. Automatic climate control is now available on the Turbo model and Hyundai Assurance Connected Care telematics services are standard for three years via the Hyundai BlueLink platform.
Choosing Your Hyundai Veloster
All Veloster models come well-equipped, with a 7-inch multimedia touchscreen, rearview monitor, cabin air filter, six-way driver seat with height adjustment and Internet radio-ready AM/FM/satellite/CD system with 196-watts and six speakers.
Trim levels determine the kind of performance you can expect:
